Arman Tsarukyan's Off-Season Weight & Diet: From 190 lbs to UFC Lightweight Contender

UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has revealed details about his diet and maximum off-season weight. The prominent fighter shared that during fight camps, his diet is strictly managed by a personal chef: eggs or yogurt with granola for breakfast, pasta for lunch, and fish or meat with vegetables for dinner.

However, outside of training camp, Tsarukyan allows himself much more, indulging in burgers, steaks, BBQ, fried chicken, and sushi. During these periods, his weight reaches 86-87 kg (approximately 190 pounds), which, according to him, makes the process of cutting 35 pounds to make the lightweight limit extremely challenging.

Despite his significant off-season weight, Tsarukyan had previously expressed a desire to drop down to featherweight (145 pounds) to challenge champion Alexander Volkanovski.

Currently, Tsarukyan has no scheduled fights. He has expressed readiness to serve as a backup fighter for the lightweight title unification bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, scheduled for June 14. If this opportunity doesn't materialize, an announcement about his next fight is expected after an event at the White House.
