Bloomwalker: Ni no Kuni Crafting Revealed at TGS 2026

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Bloomwalker made an appearance. This new project from Netmarble Neo uses the Ni no Kuni universe, originally created by Level-5. The title keeps the Studio Ghibli-esque art style of the parent series but moves away from traditional RPG mechanics. Instead, it offers a different experience focused on crafting and a relaxed atmosphere.

Bloomwalker is presented as a colorful and touching adventure. Players travel in a mobile home with the goal of healing a corrupted world. Central to the plot are Luminoa's sanctuaries, which are contaminated, and the Ciofi, nature spirits in danger from widespread corruption.

As players explore various sanctuaries and resource-rich areas, the protagonist's mobile home grows and changes, unlocking new features and becoming a true travel companion. Inside the home, a pocket dimension exists for building structures and organizing services for Famigli (artisans) and Ciofi (pets). These creatures eat, sleep, and work like members of a small community.

Strengthening the bond with Famigli and Ciofi is crucial for progression. This relationship determines access to new recipes, services, crafting paths, and the resources needed to move forward. The results of this craftsmanship become tangible tools to rebuild villages and homes, gradually healing the game world.

Regarding the release, Netmarble has not yet announced a release date or a general timeframe for Bloomwalker. However, the game is confirmed for all major platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, ensuring broad coverage at launch.

Bloomwalker arrives at a time of significant interest in the Ni no Kuni brand, which continues to draw curiosity due to its aesthetic connection with Studio Ghibli. Further details on gameplay mechanics, modes, and progression systems remain to be clarified. Netmarble Neo will likely provide more information in the coming months as they approach more precise launch window announcements.
