Mantas Kondratavičius Secures Unanimous Decision Win Over Antonio Trocoli at UFC London

Middleweight prospect Mantas Kondratavičius made a successful Octagon debut at UFC London, securing a dominant unanimous decision victory over Antonio Trocoli.

Kondratavičius began the fight aggressively, landing early strikes that prompted Trocoli to seek a clinch against the fence. While Trocoli initially controlled the position, Kondratavičius soon reversed it. Offense remained scarce for both fighters throughout most of the first round, though the final ten seconds saw an exchange with Trocoli landing a significant right hand, met by a response from Kondratavičius just before the horn.

The second round proved pivotal. Just twenty seconds in, Kondratavičius connected with a devastating inside elbow that opened a cut on Trocoli and sent the Brazilian crashing to the canvas. Despite the severe blow, Trocoli demonstrated remarkable resilience, scrambling back to his feet and disengaging after a brief clinch. Trocoli visibly struggled with the cut near his right eye, and a fortuitous accidental low blow from Kondratavičius offered him a much-needed momentary reprieve.

Upon the restart, Kondratavičius resumed his offensive pressure, nearly cinching in a rear-naked choke just as the round concluded.

Having largely dominated the first two rounds, Kondratavičius showed signs of fatigue in the third. This allowed Trocoli to control a significant portion of the final round, yet he lacked the necessary stamina to secure a finish. Consequently, the fight proceeded to the judges' scorecards.

The judges unanimously awarded the victory to Mantas Kondratavičius, marking his first triumph in the UFC.
