Dunedin Golf Club holds a significant place in American golf history. From 1945, it served as the PGA of America's headquarters, renamed PGA National Golf Club. For nearly two decades, it hosted 18 consecutive Senior PGA Championships and the inaugural PGA Merchandise Show in 1954. Legends like Bobby Jones, Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, and Babe Didrikson Zaharias graced its fairways during this era, making it a hub for professional golf and a source of community pride.
