As VfB Stuttgart concludes their training camp in Grassau, Sporting Director Fabian Wohlgemuth has shared his thoughts on the potential signing of attacker Pejcinovic and the need for a new goalkeeper.

One name that has been circulating throughout the training camp is Dzenan Pejcinovic. The Swabians are keen to bring the 21-year-old attacker from VfL Wolfsburg to the Neckar, but not at any cost. "We highly value his sporting quality. We are in constructive dialogue with Wolfsburg. However, we must consider the financial situation." Wohlgemuth indicated that a conclusion will eventually be reached, one way or another. He declined to comment on specific figures but hinted, "We've been at this for several weeks. Assume that the discussions have evolved and the figures have changed over this time." Patience is still required.

The Goalkeeper Question at VfB Stuttgart

The same applies to the goalkeeper situation. The future number one, Dennis Seimen, is expected to be sidelined until the international break in September (September 21st to October 6th) due to a thigh muscle injury.
