US Open Mixed Doubles Championship: Who's Playing and What's the Format?

August 21, 2026Carlos Mendoza2 мин

The US Open Mixed Doubles Championship features a stellar roster of players, with Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic headlining the event.

Among the participants are rising star Alex Eala, paired with Felix Auger-Aliassime; the married duo of Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils; and two-time defending champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori, all of whom received wild cards.

Leading the field is the formidable team of Sabalenka and 24-time men's Grand Slam singles champion Djokovic, boasting the lowest combined singles ranking of any entered team.

Other directly qualified teams include Elena Rybakina and Taylor Fritz, Diana Shnaider and Daniil Medvedev, last year's runners-up Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud, Belinda Bencic and Flavio Cobolli, and Amanda Anisimova and Learner Tien.

The reimagined Championship will take place from Monday, August 24, to Wednesday, August 26.
