Manchester City Show Interest in Cody Gakpo

Manchester City are reportedly monitoring the situation of Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, who has also been linked with a move to Tottenham. City are exploring options to strengthen their attacking line, especially with Savinho and potentially Omar Marmoush poised to join Tottenham.

As of now, there have been no formal discussions between Manchester City and Liverpool regarding Gakpo. The Dutch international is currently under contract with Liverpool until 2030.

Liverpool's stance is that they have no intention of selling Gakpo. It's understood that the club would likely need to secure the signings of two new wide forwards before considering any potential departure for Gakpo.

The 27-year-old featured and scored in Liverpool's Premier League opening match against Newcastle last weekend.

Manchester City have also been pursuing deals for PSG duo Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, and have had multiple bids rejected for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh.

City have reached a verbal agreement with Palmeiras to sign Allan for £34 million, intended as a replacement for Savinho. Tottenham, on the other hand, have agreed to a deal worth up to £85 million for Savinho, who underwent a medical last week.

Reports from Sky Sports News last week indicated that an agreement for Marmoush was close to being finalized between City and Spurs. He was named on the bench for City's Premier League opener against Bournemouth but did not feature in the match.

Manchester City Reach Agreement for Allan

According to latest reports from Sky Sports News' Ben Ransom and Zinny Boswell, Manchester City have come to an agreement with Palmeiras for the transfer of Allan.

The deal for the winger is valued at up to £34 million, with a fixed fee of £32 million and an additional £2 million in add-ons.

Both clubs have a verbal agreement in place, but the exchange of official documents for the 22-year-old's transfer is still pending.

Once the documentation is satisfactorily completed by both parties, the player will be granted permission to travel for his medical examination.

Allan is being brought in to fill the void left by fellow Brazilian Savinho, who is expected to join Tottenham in a deal potentially worth up to £85 million.
