Inter Milan Secures Curtis Jones from Liverpool for £30m
Inter Milan has finalized a £30 million (approximately €35 million) transfer agreement with Liverpool for midfielder Curtis Jones. The deal was confirmed late on Wednesday evening, and Jones has been granted permission to travel for his medical examinations.
This move signifies the end of Jones' 16-year tenure with Liverpool, a club he joined as a nine-year-old.
Following his senior team debut in the 2018-19 season, Jones amassed 228 appearances for Liverpool, netting 22 goals. The 25-year-old becomes the third English player to join Inter this transfer window, following in the footsteps of John Stones and Djed Spence.
During his time at Anfield, Jones collected numerous accolades, including two Premier League titles, two Carabao Cups, the Club World Cup, and the FA Cup. He also experienced a Champions League final runner-up finish in 2022.
