Gerwyn Price Starts Bid for Second Australian Darts Masters Title Against Simon Whitlock
Top seed Gerwyn Price is set to begin his campaign for a second KenoGO Australian Darts Masters title by competing against Simon Whitlock. Meanwhile, Gian van Veen and Raymond Smith are scheduled to face each other in Wollongong.
The final World Series of Darts event of the year will be held at the WIN Entertainment Centre on August 21-22. Jonny Clayton will also be participating, aiming to secure back-to-back titles after his previous victory in New Zealand.
Price, who was the inaugural Australian Darts Masters champion in 2024, will be in the spotlight on Friday night when he goes up against Australian darts icon Whitlock, reigniting their rivalry on the main stage.
Following the opening night on Friday, the 2026 Australian Darts Masters will conclude with the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final during a packed Saturday evening session.
