Parker Porter, who previously defeated Chase Sherman in the UFC, discussed the matchup between Smith and Sherman. Smith is returning from a brief retirement to face Sherman, a former BKFC heavyweight champion and ex-UFC fighter, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Porter believes the fight will be compelling. The absence of gloves allows for better grip, making it easier for Smith to secure various submissions, such as rear-naked chokes.
