Rory McIlroy, the recent 2025 Masters champion, leads the impressive field competing at this week`s Truist Championship. Held at The Philadelphia Cricket Club`s challenging Wissahickon Course, McIlroy is set to pursue his fourth victory of the current PGA Tour season.
The Wissahickon Course is making its debut as a host venue for the PGA Tour event. This also marks the tour`s return to Philadelphia, the “City of Brotherly Love,” for the first time since the 2018 BMW Championship, which took place at Aronimink Golf Club and saw Keegan Bradley claim the title.
A total of 72 players, including top contenders like McIlroy and Bradley, will compete for a substantial portion of the $20 million prize purse. The winner will receive a significant $3.6 million prize along with 700 valuable FedEx Cup points.
