Two more previously undefeated fighters experienced their first losses at UFC Vegas 105.
In 2025 alone, twenty UFC fighters have now tasted defeat for the first time, including prominent contenders like Umar Nurmagomedov and Tatiana Suarez.
Lerone Murphy, with a 14-0 record, headlined UFC Vegas 105, and three other fighters on the undercard also put their undefeated records on the line.
While Torrez Finney managed to maintain his perfect record through wrestling, Uran Satybaldiev and Luis Gurule were not so fortunate. Gurule encountered a powerful left hand that ended his undefeated streak on Saturday.

Ode Osbourne Defeats 10-0 Luis Gurule at UFC Vegas 105
Gurule, 31, joined the UFC after competing on Dana White`s Contender Series in October. He made his debut against seasoned UFC fighter Ode Osbourne in the flyweight division.
Known for his fast starts, Osbourne initially saw Gurule control him on the ground for most of the first round. However, the second round belonged entirely to ‘The Jamaican Sensation’.
Having lost his three previous bouts, Osbourne fought with urgency, dramatically knocking out Gurule mid-air with a powerful left hand.
Osbourne is also remembered for stunning Ronaldo Rodriguez at UFC 306 at the Sphere last year, where he aggressively pursued a finish but ultimately lost by decision.
This time, Osbourne showed more patience, circling Gurule before unleashing ground and pound strikes, securing a second-round TKO victory.
Was Luis Gurule ‘Fraud Checked’ by Ode Osbourne?
Before their UFC debut matchup, Gurule was heavily favored at -250 to defeat Osbourne. Gurule entered the fight with a perfect 10-0 record, while Osbourne, with a 12-8 record, was on a three-fight losing streak.
Osbourne, a former ranked contender, sparked fan reactions to Gurule`s first professional loss at UFC Vegas 105, with some fans suggesting a `fraud check` had occurred.
“Ode just fraud checked Gurule. I f****** knew it man,” one fan commented on X.
“I think Gurule has potential to be a top 15 fighter someday, but experience is crucial, and Ode Osbourne has definitely earned his stripes,” another fan posted on X.
“Luis Gurule is no longer undefeated. Ode Osbourne takes home the victory. Wow,” another fan reacted.
