According to sources, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is showing impressive form in training as he prepares for his highly anticipated fight against Rashad Evans.
On April 12th, former UFC stars will meet at The Pit in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, not in the cage, but in the ring, to conclude their rivalry.
Their history dates back to 2010 when ‘Suga’ Evans secured a unanimous decision victory at UFC 114.
Since that loss, Rampage has been eager for a rematch, and now he has the opportunity.
Shawne Merriman, a former NFL legend and combat sports promoter, is excited about the matchup between Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and Rashad Evans. His network, Lights Out Sports TV, is partnering with Signature Punch Promotions and ICS (Influencer Crossover Series) to present this significant event.

In an exclusive interview, Merriman shared, “It’s quite interesting because I have close relationships with both fighters. They were surprised and pleased to learn that the fight would be featured on Lights Out Sports TV.”
“Both athletes are in excellent physical condition. I personally trained with Rampage a few months ago in Long Beach at Antonio McKee’s gym.”
“I can attest to Rampage’s ability to still perform at a high level from seeing him spar. He’s looking sharp.”
“Rashad has consistently maintained his fitness over the ten years I’ve known him. He’s always been in shape.”

Merriman also recounted his early MMA training experiences with Jay Glazer from Fox Sports, which led to an opportunity to train with former UFC champion Randy Couture.
At that time, Couture was considered a dominant force in the UFC, making Merriman somewhat apprehensive about the training prospect.
Merriman has now spoken about the moment he felt he might have to actually fight Couture.
