Former UFC champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is set to be highly entertained if his team triumphs over Henry Cejudo’s squad at UFL 6.
Scheduled for May 2nd at the Westworld Scottsdale Equidome in Arizona, USA, these two mixed martial arts icons will each coach five fighters. ‘Triple C’ will captain Team Scottsdale, while the ex-UFC light heavyweight kingpin leads Team Orange County.
There`s considerable pride at stake. Cejudo is eager to defend his home territory, and Rampage is equally determined to spoil the local favorite`s plans.
However, more than just bragging rights are on the line. Rampage revealed that his opponent has agreed to a forfeit should his team fail to secure the win.
Henry Cejudo Faces Eddie Munster Costume Forfeit If His Team Loses at UFL 6
Henry Cejudo has extra motivation to ensure Team Scottsdale emerges victorious on Friday night. Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has made a bet with him: the loser must wear an Eddie Munster costume from the classic show `The Munsters`.
In a recent interview, Rampage explained his choice: “Henry Cejudo, he reminds me of Eddie Munster. So, he gotta get those little triangle cuts in his hair, he’s got to wear the clothes and wear the makeup. He’s going to look like a man-child if I win.”
While Rampage is known for his physical intensity, it`s unlikely he would literally force Cejudo into the costume if he loses. Nevertheless, avoiding this potentially embarrassing situation is certainly something for the former two-division UFC champion to consider.
Though Rampage doesn`t have a specific forfeit if he loses, the prospect of being defeated by his friend is something he strongly wants to avoid.
Rampage stated: “Henry is my buddy. But if he wins, he’s going to forever rub it in my face, and I don’t want anything rubbed in my face, I do the face-rubbing.”
Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson Confident Team Orange County Has the Edge at UFL 6
Rampage is looking forward to the event, confident he has assembled a lineup that will be extremely difficult for Cejudo`s team to beat.
He commented: “We’ve got some killers on our team. We’ve got Gino Morelli, the kid is undefeated, 4-0; he’s a great wrestler. We’ve got Patrick Cornett, and in the main event, we’ve got Randall Wallace. We’ve got some killers on our squad.”
Points will be accumulated by the two teams throughout the night based on fight outcomes.
