THE PLAYERS Championship 2026 Field Announced

The organizers of THE PLAYERS Championship today unveiled the confirmed field for the 2026 event. The tournament is set to return to the iconic THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass from March 10-15.

The 123-player roster features an impressive 47 of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, representing 24 different nations, underscoring the championship’s global appeal.

Notably, Brooks Koepka was added to the field as the 121st player through his return to the PGA TOUR via the Returning Member Program, ensuring his participation did not displace an active TOUR member. To complete the threesome pairings, the field was officially expanded to 123 competitors as of Monday at noon ET, with the two primary alternates at that time – Patton Kizzire and Seamus Power – subsequently joining the lineup.

• Seven PLAYERS Champions are confirmed: Rory McIlroy (victories in 2019, 2025), Scottie Scheffler (2023, 2024), Justin Thomas (2021), Si Woo Kim (2017), Jason Day (2016), Rickie Fowler (2015), and Adam Scott (2004).
• Two-time PLAYERS Champions Scottie Scheffler (2023, 2024) and Rory McIlroy (2019, 2025) are both aiming to become the first players to win THE PLAYERS three times since Jack Nicklaus (1974, 1976, 1978), and specifically the first to achieve three victories at TPC Sawgrass.
