Neffati Brothers Target Mariusz Pudzianowski Following Eddie Hall’s Quick KO

Sports news » Neffati Brothers Target Mariusz Pudzianowski Following Eddie Hall’s Quick KO

The Neffati Brothers, known for their past 2v1 bout against Eddie Hall, have turned their attention to a new potential opponent: Mariusz Pudzianowski. Their interest was piqued after watching Pudzianowski`s recent fight.

Millions of viewers tuned in to witness Eddie Hall`s impressive MMA debut at KSW 105 in Poland. There, he secured a stunning knockout against five-time World`s Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski, within a mere 30 seconds. This performance showcased a cleaner execution and arguably involved a tougher challenge compared to his previous exhibition against the influencer brothers, whom he defeated simultaneously last summer.

Since their encounter with Hall, the Neffati Brothers have gone on to win another 2v1 match themselves. Now, motivated by Pudzianowski`s rapid defeat, they have publicly issued a challenge to him. They lightheartedly pointed out that, technically speaking, they managed to last longer against Eddie Hall in their fight than Pudzianowski did in his recent Saturday night contest.

Neffati Brothers Call Out Pudzianowski

Eddie Hall`s decisive knockout victory over Mariusz Pudzianowski has generated significant discussion across the combat sports world. Notable figures, including UFC champions Tom Aspinall and Michael Bisping, have shared their opinions, and Joe Rogan was among the viewers who “liked” Hall`s post on social media.

Among the most attentive viewers were the influencer twins Jamil and Jamel Neffati. Having experienced Hall`s immense power firsthand, they jokingly claimed they performed better. They emphasized that they survived nearly three rounds, totaling approximately six minutes, lasting almost until the final seconds, and even quipped about potentially leading on the scorecards through their “kick and run away” tactic.

In a post on their Instagram story, the Neffati brothers congratulated Hall, stating, “He is called the beast for a reason.” In a subsequent message written in Polish and translated, they added, “We are TikTokers, not fighters… And here the donkeys endured three rounds (won two thanks to our `kick and run away` tactics).”

Following these posts, they expressed a serious interest in facing Pudzianowski in a similar style of fight. In another Instagram story, they wrote, “Now I`m getting serious it would be an honor to stand in the ring with such a legend as Mariusz Pudzianowski. Respect was, is and always will be.”

Eddie Hall`s Preference for Rematch Rules

The unusual 2v1 exhibition match between Hall and the Neffati brothers featured a specific rule set: three rounds, each lasting two minutes. Given Hall`s significant size advantage and limited formal fight training at the time, this format provided for shorter, high-intensity periods of action.

In contrast, for his fight against Mariusz Pudzianowski, Hall agreed to two rounds of four minutes. This was intended to be closer to professional fight standards, as Pudzianowski is an experienced fighter who sought a more serious contest. However, the duration of the rounds ultimately didn`t matter, as Hall finished the fight with a knockout within the very first minute.

Despite the swift victory, Hall stated he is open to a rematch with `Pudzian`, but explicitly requested a return to the two-minute round structure that he initially favored. Speaking in his post-fight interview, Hall explained his reasoning:

“Maybe Mariusz will do the rematch with two minutes rounds. I’ve got no aspirations to be number one in KSW. That’s just not for me. I want to come and have fun. I want to fight my heroes. I want to fight the freaks of the world.”
