Miami is the location where Jimmy Butler III will face his former team on Tuesday. If Golden State Warriors members are looking for coffee from Butler`s shop in the city, they will encounter a higher cost.
The inaugural physical store of `Big Face Coffee`, the former Miami Heat forward`s coffee brand, started its operations in Miami`s design district in December.
Butler announced on his Instagram story on Sunday that Warriors staff would be charged extra for coffee at his store. According to a menu posted on Yelp, coffee prices are usually between $4 and $10.
Butler was traded to the Warriors at the NBA trade deadline last month after requesting a trade from the Heat. Before the trade, Miami suspended the six-time All-Star three times.
Big Face Coffee was launched by Butler during the 2020 NBA Bubble. He famously charged $20 per cup for any size or type of coffee prepared with his French press.
This concept developed into a physical store, which had its grand opening on December 6, 2024.
`It`s truly unbelievable because this is another aspiration I verbalized and then pursued and achieved,` Butler shared with NBC News earlier this month. `This narrative represents that for me. I had a vision, I dedicated myself to it, and then suddenly, here we are with a coffee establishment.`
Butler`s averages for the Warriors this season are 17.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.1 assists across 19 games.
