FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Schedule & Scores

Sports news » FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Schedule & Scores

The summer of football takes on a new dimension this year with the inaugural expanded FIFA Club World Cup. Hosted in the United States, this major tournament features 32 teams from around the globe competing for a significant share of a $1 billion prize pool.

Several prominent clubs are participating in this revamped competition, from UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain to Argentine giants Boca Juniors, all aiming for a deep run. European teams form the largest contingent with 12 participants, while South America sends six representatives. Four teams each come from Asia and Africa, and five teams, including three MLS clubs, represent North America. Oceania has one spot, filled by Auckland City, the only amateur side.

While the ambition to win is universal, the stakes vary between teams. Underdogs like Lionel Messi`s Inter Miami and Simone Inzaghi`s Al-Hilal hope to challenge the expected European dominance. Meanwhile, several European powerhouses, including Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Inzaghi`s former club Inter Milan (who finished their domestic and continental seasons without silverware and view this as a final trophy opportunity), aim to live up to high expectations.

As the tournament progresses, here is a look at the schedule and results so far:
