What to Know for Monday`s Games

Monday`s NBA schedule features only two games, with the NCAA national championship game also happening. The most interesting matchup is between Domantas Sabonis and the Sacramento Kings visiting Detroit to play Cade Cunningham and the Pistons.

Sacramento`s season has changed significantly since their last game against Detroit. Their coach was replaced, a key player was traded, and they are now a very different team. Meanwhile, the Pistons are having a much-improved season, likely heading to the playoffs and significantly better than last year. Cunningham is a leading candidate for Most Improved Player. One bet in this game stands out.

Let`s examine this game and the other matchup for fantasy streaming choices and betting insights for Monday.

Monday`s Fantasy Stream Team

Isaiah Stewart, C/PF, Pistons (available in many leagues): Stewart is important in the Pistons` rotation with Jalen Duren absent. He scored 51 fantasy points in 34 minutes against Memphis on Saturday and averages 12.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per 40 minutes this season. Watch Duren`s status to see if Stewart is a good streaming option.

Jared Butler, SG, Philadelphia 76ers (widely available): Butler is taking advantage of injuries on the 76ers. In his last 15 games, he`s averaged 12.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.2 steals in almost 29 minutes per game. He should be active Monday against the Heat.

Davion Mitchell, PG, Miami Heat (widely available): Mitchell comes off the bench for the Heat but plays significant minutes. He`s played at least 30 minutes and scored 30+ fantasy points in three straight games, contributing in points, rebounds, assists, and steals. The Sixers are near the bottom in points allowed per possession and have many injuries, making this a good opportunity for Mitchell.

Ausar Thompson, SF/PF, Pistons (available in over half of leagues): Thompson is a starter for the Pistons and a great streaming choice, contributing across all stats. He has played 30+ minutes in three straight games and scored 40+ fantasy points in each. Expect him to be key for the Pistons on Monday.

Favorite Bets for Monday

Bam Adebayo OVER 35.5 points, rebounds, and assists (-125)

Adebayo has played well recently, exceeding this line in three of his last five games. He`s averaged about 19 field-goal attempts, 13 rebound chances, and almost 6 potential assists in about 33 minutes per game. The Heat might rely on Adebayo more, as the 76ers struggle against centers and a key Heat player is uncertain.

Heat OVER 114.5 total points (-115)

The Heat`s offense has been strong lately, ranking seventh in offensive rating in their last six games, exceeding this point total in five of them. The 76ers` defense has struggled all season. With several key 76ers players out, the Heat are strong favorites and should score easily on Monday.

Domantas Sabonis OVER 25.5 points and assists (-110)

The Pistons` frontcourt is uncertain with two players possibly out, which Sabonis can exploit. Although Sabonis has only exceeded this line in two of his last five games, he has a high usage rate for the Kings. The Pistons are likely playoff-bound and may prioritize player health. The Pistons allow the sixth-most assists per game to centers this season, setting up Sabonis for scoring and passing success.
