Eddie Hall receives ominous final message from Mariusz Pudzianowski ahead of ‘World’s Strongest Fight’

Sports news » Eddie Hall receives ominous final message from Mariusz Pudzianowski ahead of ‘World’s Strongest Fight’

Eddie Hall`s opponent for his mixed martial arts debut believes Hall is heading for a harsh reality check when they finally compete.

Known as ‘The Beast’, Hall originally issued a challenge to face Mariusz Pudzianowski following his victory in a somewhat strange 2-on-1 bout last June.

Now, the two former World’s Strongest Man champions are scheduled to face off in Gliwice, Poland, this Saturday evening.

Pudzianowski`s last appearance was a surprising knockout defeat against former heavyweight boxer Artur Szpilka in June 2023. Despite this, he feels confident stepping into the ring, armed with the significant experience from his 27-fight MMA career.

Pudzianowski`s Pre-Fight Message to Hall

Eddie Hall is expected to weigh approximately 350 lbs for the bout, which features modified MMA rules. The rounds are set for just four minutes each, but the five-time World`s Strongest Man winner is confident this duration is ample time for him to inflict considerable difficulty upon Hall.

“Eddie, you’re in for a lot of hard work.”

“I’m not going to give up easily. You know well that I fight until the very end.”

“You’re about to see what lack of oxygen means.”

“This is not boxing, this is MMA.”

Eddie Hall on Training with Tom Aspinall

For the past year, Hall has been training alongside the interim UFC heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall.

It`s quite evident that Aspinall, who is anticipated to be a future opponent for Jon Jones, has been the dominant party in their sparring sessions.

“Look, man, I’m not Jon Jones, but I can honestly, hand on heart say I’ve never had such a humbling experience as getting in the ring with Tom Aspinall and sparring.”

“Doing the grappling, you just feel completely outmatched. Even a man my size, he just uses your strengths against you, and his hands are so fast. His footwork is incredible.”

“You just feel utterly ineffective going in the ring and doing business with Tom Aspinall.”

“And that’s coming from me, a ‘World’s Strongest Man’. It’s a very humbling experience going in the ring with Tom.”
