Eddie Hall Confirms Contract Signed for Next MMA Fight, Hints at Return Date

Sports news » Eddie Hall Confirms Contract Signed for Next MMA Fight, Hints at Return Date

Speculation surrounding Eddie Hall`s next fight has intensified significantly since his impactful debut in mixed martial arts.

Last Saturday, the former World`s Strongest Man achieved a dominant 30-second TKO victory over Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105 event held in Gliwice, Poland.

Following his win, `The Beast` publicly challenged Dillon Danis and has been linked to several other prominent potential opponents.

However, Eddie Hall has now revealed that he has already put pen to paper on a contract for his upcoming MMA bout.

Eddie Hall Discusses Potential Opponent and Timeline for MMA Return

Despite his decisive win, Hall called for a rematch with Pudzianowski during his post-fight interview at KSW 105. This request surprised many viewers, given how easily he dispatched the five-time World`s Strongest Man champion.

Nonetheless, the 37-year-old has stated that he has already signed a contract specifically for a rematch with Pudzianowski.

This means if the 48-year-old Polish star decides not to retire, they are tentatively set to face each other again towards the end of 2025.

“There is a two-fight deal [with KSW],” Hall explained to Ariel Helwani on Wednesday. “The second fight is meant to be a rematch with Mariusz Pudzianowski. Potentially in November, but we`ve got to be realistic about it… I don`t know if that rematch is going to happen. I would be interested in it. It would have to be for two-minute rounds, I wouldn`t agree to four-minute rounds again because it just made my camp so unbearable.”

He elaborated on the difficulty of preparing for longer rounds: “The training for four-minute rounds, it just became so miserable for me. So, yeah, if it was to happen again, it would have to be the two-minute rounds. I`d happily fight Mariusz again and make it even more of an explosion.”

Considering Eddie Hall vs. Francis Ngannou?

The idea of a potential clash between Hall and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou was first mentioned by KSW president Martin Lewandowski the previous week.

Immediately after his knockout victory over Pudzianowski, Hall dismissed any talk of fighting Ngannou in a memorable and explicit fashion.

“I would rather get f—ed up the a— by the devil than fight Francis Ngannou,” Hall emphatically stated. “I`m not fighting Francis Ngannou, that`s not happening, no. Let`s just not mention my name anywhere near that name.”

However, during his conversation with Helwani, Hall appeared to perform a significant reversal regarding a potential fight with Ngannou.

Consequently, if Pudzianowski does not proceed with their contracted rematch, Hall suggested that facing `The Predator` might become his next bout.
