Dillon Danis has issued a concise response to Tony Ferguson after the UFC icon suggested their proposed fight could potentially be back on the table.
The pair were initially slated to headline the debut GFL event in Los Angeles last weekend. However, the promotion cancelled the event more than a month beforehand, resulting in their scheduled bout being called off.
This cancellation marked another setback for Danis, who was also forced to withdraw from a boxing match against YouTuber KSI just weeks prior. KSI cited illness as the reason for pulling out of their planned meeting.

Dillon Danis`s Struggles with Inactivity Continue
For Danis, the recurring frustration of fight cancellations has been a significant theme throughout recent years. He missed three years of his career due to knee injuries after participating in only two Bellator fights. His return came in a boxing grudge match against Logan Paul in 2023.
He remained inactive throughout most of 2024 before signing on for two potential fights in a short span this year. Despite these issues and cancellations, he reportedly maintains an intensive training schedule, sharing updates on his social media stories after sending his message to Ferguson.
Misfits Boxing promoter Mams Taylor has expressed his commitment to finding Danis another fight soon. In response to a message from the fighter following his recent cancellations, Taylor wrote: “You’ve sure had some bad luck. You’re fighting soon Danis.”
