The rivalry between Mike Perry and Darren Till, stemming from an incident eight years ago in the UFC, is still very much alive.
Mike Perry, now a Bare Knuckle FC fighter, and Darren Till, a former UFC title contender, have a complex history. Their relationship has shifted from friendship to rivalry, then to animosity, and at times, mutual respect.
With both Perry and Till no longer in the UFC, the possibility of them fighting in boxing or MMA has actually increased. Perry has become a prominent figure in bare-knuckle boxing, while Till has gained some traction with recent boxing wins.
Perry has repeatedly accused Till of declining lucrative fight offers. He reiterated this claim in a recent interview, while waiting for his next BKFC fight.

Possible “Dirty Boxing” Match Between Mike Perry and Darren Till?
During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Perry reignited his dispute with Till.
“It’s frustrating that Till would refuse a $2 million offer from Bare Knuckle to fight me, only to then box Anthony Taylor for around $300,000,” Perry stated.
“Let’s make this fight happen. Darren Till versus Platinum Perry, under my banner, in Dirty Boxing.”
Till quickly responded on X, denying Perry`s version of events.
“I never refused,” Till clarified. “I proposed a boxing match followed by a bare-knuckle fight. However, neither you nor your manager followed up with me or my team, so the lack of action is on your side.
If you genuinely want to fight, I’m ready,” Till affirmed. “You seem more focused on promotion currently, while I am training daily, focused, and struggling to find opponents. KSI isn`t answering, Tommy Fury isn`t answering, Jake Paul is the same.”
“So, if you are serious about the fight that’s meant to happen, have your manager contact Misfits, and we can organize it as a co-promotion.”
Till was originally scheduled to fight Tommy Fury in a Misfits Boxing event earlier in the year, but Fury withdrew. Till`s last fight was a victory over Anthony Taylor in a Misfits Boxing event in January.
Mike Perry in Discussions for Bare Knuckle FC Fight Against UFC Hall of Famer
Amidst the renewed tension with Till, Perry is reportedly in talks to fight Robbie Lawler, a 2025 UFC Hall of Fame inductee, in a BKFC event later this year. Lawler retired from MMA after a knockout victory over Niko Price at UFC 290.
Perry and Till have been teasing a fight for years, ever since their post-fight confrontation after Till`s victory over Donald Cerrone at a UFC Fight Night in 2018. Following Till`s recent win, Perry again called for a fight, but as of now, nothing official has been arranged.
Perry also mentioned the possibility of facing Dillon Danis in an MMA fight, after Danis’s original boxing opponent, KSI, backed out of their scheduled fight. Danis has a 2-0 record in professional MMA.
The rivalry between Till and Perry continues, and it remains uncertain if a fight will actually happen. However, both fighters seem open to the idea.
