Sports news » Cristiano Ronaldo Signs Al-Nassr Extension Until 2027

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed to a new contract extension with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, securing his future with the club until 2027. This new agreement adds two years to his previous deal, which was set to expire in the summer of 2025.

Ronaldo originally joined Al-Nassr in December 2022. Despite recent speculation and even his own acknowledgments of interest from various clubs worldwide, the prolific Portuguese forward has chosen to commit his immediate future to the Saudi league.

Confirming the extension, Cristiano Ronaldo shared his enthusiasm on social media, writing: “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let`s make history together.”

This extended commitment suggests that Al-Nassr could potentially be the final club of Ronaldo`s illustrious playing career before he eventually retires.

Addressing his future recently, the veteran striker stated that while he knows the end of his career is approaching, he intends to keep playing as long as he feels happy doing so. Ronaldo, who turned 40 in February, boasts an incredible career tally of 956 goals across all competitions and is widely celebrated as one of the greatest football players of all time.
