Being praised as a superstar by Conor McGregor is a significant honor for any MMA fighter, given his legendary status in the sport.
Despite his recent UFC career trajectory, Conor McGregor`s legacy as MMA`s biggest global icon remains unchallenged.

Conor McGregor Declares Dakota Ditcheva ‘The Next Big Thing’
Last Friday, the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) hosted its inaugural event in Dubai, a two-day spectacle in the Middle East.
McGregor was present to witness the event, which featured two title fights and the BKFC debut of UFC veteran Aleksei Olenik, who suffered a brutal knockout.
Also in attendance was PFL star Dakota Ditcheva, who gained prominence last year by winning the PFL women’s flyweight tournament and its $1 million prize.
Ditcheva`s star power is undeniable, and MMA enthusiasts have been urging the UFC to sign her, especially after her recent appearance at UFC London.
During the event, McGregor and Ditcheva had their first meeting, which was captured on camera.
“Dakota, a superstar, what’s up sweetheart,” McGregor greeted Ditcheva.
“You’re the next big thing, baby. Great to see you. You’re a strong woman, good girl. F—— awesome, great to see you, great to finally meet you. What’s the crack? What do you have up next?” McGregor inquired.
“I don’t know. PFL are working on something for me,” Ditcheva replied.
“PFL are working on something for you? Ash! Superstar right here, 100%. Dakota, great to see you, sweetheart,” McGregor reiterated.
Ditcheva, 26, last competed in November, achieving a career-defining victory over former UFC title contender Taila Santos.
She will not participate in the 2025 PFL women’s flyweight tournament and is limited to PFL’s super-fight events, resulting in her current inactivity.
McGregor’s Security Injures Fan in Alleged Attack
However, the evening was marred by an incident where a fan reportedly attempted to approach McGregor as he interacted with the crowd.
Video footage circulating on social media shows McGregor’s security team engaging with a fan, with one security member punching the fan, causing him to bleed.
The former UFC champion hopes that the second night of the event will be more peaceful as more titles are contested at the Dubai Tennis Stadium.
