Bayern Munich is set to host Inter Milan this Tuesday for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash. Despite their dominance in the German Bundesliga, Bayern is currently facing a series of injury concerns under manager Vincent Kompany. Jamal Musiala is the latest player to be ruled out, suffering a muscular injury in Friday`s match against Augsburg. He will miss both legs of the quarterfinal.
Musiala joins a list of sidelined Bayern players, including Canadian left-back Alphonso Davies, defender Dayot Upamecano, and veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
When questioned about the team`s situation, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany acknowledged the challenges. “We`re in a tough spot,” he stated. “But this is the Champions League, and we must focus forward. The available players are ready to give their all. Those taking the field have consistently trained at a high level and are prepared to contribute. I trust these players. I won’t complain, and our goals and strategies remain unchanged. Those who play will be at 100% and have my full confidence.”

His legendary career is immense, and while it`s a significant topic, my priority is to prepare the team for our upcoming game.”
Inter manager Simone Inzaghi also addressed player availability in his pre-match press conference, specifically mentioning Hakan Calhanoglu and Federico Dimarco. “Bastoni and Calhanoglu trained with the team, but still need evaluation.
