The TGL finals reached their climax on Tuesday night as Atlanta Drive Golf Club and New York Golf Club competed in the second game of a best-of-three series for the inaugural TGL championship.
Atlanta Drive GC had gained a 1-0 advantage in the series on Monday, narrowly defeating New York GC 6-5 in a match decided on the last hole. In Tuesday`s game, Atlanta staged a comeback victory, overcoming New York 4-3 to complete the series sweep and take home the SoFi Cup.
Billy Horschel, Patrick Cantlay, and Justin Thomas represented Atlanta, while Lucas Glover was absent. For New York, Xander Schauffele, Cameron Young, and Rickie Fowler were in action. Matt Fitzpatrick was not playing.

Numerous celebrities were present to witness the TGL championship. Among the attendees were actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key, streamer and gamer Ninja, and former NFL quarterback Matt Ryan.
Cantlay Just Misses Lead-Taking Shot
Following a missed putt by New York`s Young, Cantlay had an opportunity to give Atlanta an early lead on Hole 1. Despite what appeared to be a perfect 20-foot putt, the ball lipped out of the hole, resulting in a tie.
Schauffele Puts New York Ahead
New York finally broke the tie in the latter part of the triples section of the game. Schauffele hit an impressive first shot on Hole 7, positioning his team to take a 1-0 lead. His ball landed less than 5 feet from the hole.
Young Extends New York`s Lead
NYGC built on their score from Hole 7 by earning another point on Hole 8. Young executed a near-perfect approach shot that landed only 15 inches from the cup. After his shot, New York used a hammer to double the hole`s value, but Atlanta declined, giving New York one point.
New York Takes 3-0 Lead
New York continued to widen their lead over Atlanta on the first hole of the singles section of the match. Schauffele defeated Thomas on Hole 10, increasing New York`s lead to 3-0.
Horschel Puts Atlanta Ahead on Hole 14
After gradually reducing New York`s lead in singles, Atlanta finally took the lead on Hole 14. Fowler`s first shot landed in the bunker, creating an opportunity for Atlanta to use the hammer. Horschel followed up by sinking an approximately 18-foot putt, giving Atlanta a 4-3 lead before securing the victory on Hole 15.
