In his debut NBA playoff game, Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green quickly established a physical matchup.
After Green drew an offensive foul on Sengun early in the first quarter of Game 1, Sengun responded shortly after with a powerful dunk directly over Green.
Rockets guard Jalen Green drove to the basket and passed to Sengun, who elevated and slammed the ball over Draymond Green for an emphatic poster dunk. The highlight play occurred within the first two minutes of the game.
This isn`t the first time these two have clashed. In a previous regular season game on April 6th, Green was called for a flagrant foul after elbowing Sengun.
Alperen Sengun is coming off a strong regular season where he averaged 19.1 points and 10.3 rebounds, earning his first All-Star selection. The Rockets are participating in their first playoff series since 2020.
